Federal Communications Commission Rules

For frequency hopping systems, at least 75 hopping frequencies in a pseudorandom hopping pattern, separated by at least 25 kHz, shall be used, and the average time of occupancy on any frequency shall not be greater than four-tenths of one second within a 30 second period.  The maximum bandwidth of the hopping channel is at most 1 MHz.
